Welcome, and thank you so much for stopping by!

My name is Jessica, I'm a Virginia native - Chesterfield, to be exact - but I now call Chicago,IL home. And yes, Listennnn, the Windy City truly lives up to its name!

Like many of us, I once had my life mapped out. If you had asked me five years ago where I saw myself, I would've confidently said, "Married with two kids living in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., working as a lawyer, representing athletes as a sports agent." But sometimes, God shifts our plans in ways we never expect.

Totally Submitted was birthed from a vision God placed on my heart - a space to inspire and encourage others to trust in His greater plan. We may have ideas for our lives, goals, plans and timelines, but the truth is, we won't fully understand God's purpose until we totally submit to Him.

As Isaiah 55:8-9 reminds us, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord.

To stay in alignment with God's purpose, we must remain connected to Him. To submit means to yield to a greater authority - and that's exactly what we're called to do. While many of us spend our lives searching for direction, God has already written our story. "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you....." (Jeremiah 1:5). And Jeremiah 29:11 solidifies the plans God has for us, " For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans of good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."

The "totally submitted" logo  to me represents submission. The word "submitted is underneath "totally" showing submission, the act of accepting authority or control.  When someone is over you, there is a level of power or authority. Designed in the shape of a circle, it conveys totality, eternity, wholeness, and perfection. The circle, with its endless form and no beginning or end, is often used to represent the divine nature of God - encompassing all things reflecting His boundless, eternal love. It also signifies that God is at the center of everything. Remember, when we are in total submission to Him, He becomes everything we need.

My hope is that Totally Submitted - through its message - ministers to you and serves as a daily reminder to surrender to God, trust His timing, and walk boldly in purpose.

Peace, Love and Blessings,

Jess
